First off, I need to clarify that I received this as a gift from my spouse. She loved the smell of this soap. However, I find the smell of this stuff absolutely atrocious. Scent is highly subjective though and is not the basis of my one-star review.
I really hate giving reviews like this. However, there are far better shaving soaps out there that may cost a little more but give much better results. This one is not one I would recommend even at this price point. You can get just a good of a lather out of an ordinary bar of soap, which I would also not recommend unless you enjoy having razor burn.

I’m a big fan of this company’s soaps and this one is no exception. It smells great and is very moisturizing. The circle shape fits perfectly into the shaving bowl too.

When I picked up a bar at the Bidwell Farmers Market back in May, it instantly became my favorite shaving soap. Ever. And I’ve been shaving with shaving soap for more than 30 years. At the rate it’s not shrinking, I don’t expect to need another bar for a long time.

I have been using this for quite a few years. Started out with the regular shape bars but was thilled to find it in the round. I always look for this product at all the markets Especially at the Bidwell farmers market. It gives a great lather and a very smooth shave.
